The 'cat has been thrown among the pigeons'! So what should be done to deal with it? Cancel the game from the series and say 'tough luck' to those who chose players from those teams? Move the game to a different round? Create a special additional round? A mix of these?
For sure there will be some practical limitations, but in an ideal world, what do you think?

When the sides replay the game in one of the 'off' weekends then those players that were picked 'this' time who participate in 'that' game should yield points for their fantasy teams. If a French or Irish player that you had picked gets injured between then and now then its hard luck. This one game should be separate as the players have already been locked and the rest of the series continue as normal.

Maybe log the selected French and Italy players and eventually allocate points to them when they actually play.
If those players don't end up being selected, practically speaking it just has top be hard luck.

This is a Tough one..... What to do?? Maybe unlock the round and let players sell all France and Ireland Players and replace them with Wales and Scottish players without using up any trades. It's a long shot I know, but what else?
Maybe give players an average score, but then again, too little games has been played to determine an average.
I also Support Korean boyo's idea
Goodness...... Good luck

I have exclusively French and Irish players in my team, so I disagree with everyone ecept Volcanos. If any of these suggestions are used I have no chance of gaining points and might as well stop playing right now. If the game goes ahead after my players have played other games and are injured then I lose trades.
I have no answer, but if the game is not played with the same players that were chosen for the game then the whole 6 nations series should be scrapped and it will be 'tough luck' for everyone and not just those of us that chose French and Irish players.

Allow for changes to scotland and wales without costing trades...and allocate the same number to allow for a change back.

SOP has a good idea, at least we have the opportunity to stay in the game.

Korean Boyo and Milk Warriors seem to be onto it...
That game remains as part of Round 2, but for the meantime all players from France and Ireland will show as having scored zero points. When the game is eventually played, the points get retrospectively awarded.
This way it takes a while for the final numbers to appear, so in-between time the rankings will not be a true reflection, but once the rugby game is played everything becomes fairly normal.
The approach assumes that squads for France and Ireland will be pretty much the same as what they were planned to be this weekend, and that this is a postponement, not a cancellation.

Can I suggest then that should the players for the game change from those listed yesterday, that those of us holding those players for this unplayed round get extra trades in line with changed player line-up? i.e. if France make one change to tehir team, those holding the dropped/injured player get one extra trade.

Wait for the match to be played this weekend. If it gets cancelled, have a beer.

Hopefully the game is played this weekend, then it will simply be a case that Round 2 takes a little longer than we all expected.
Why do I have to wait for the game to be cancelled to have a beer?

Sunday March 4. Why don't you just scrap round 2 completely? Sucks for whoever picked Leigh Halfpenny, but otherwise it's just a huge mess. Just axe round 2 and let's move on.

Cant it just be worked that the 4th of march is still round 2? so that on that day everyone gets their team for round 2, with say 2 trades. then after the game it returns to what everyone has for round 3/4. it might be a coding nightmare but would probably be the fairest way
